"A very useful reference!"
-Review, www.gruntdoc.com
For Those of you that work in Surgery, Check out my new App, Surgical Equipment Troubleshooting. It tells you how to fix common problems with machinery found in most Operating Rooms.
The science of medical terminology is used for accurately describing the human body and associated components, conditions, and processes in a language-based manner. This systematic approach to word-building and term comprehension is based on the concept of stem words, prefixes, and suffixes. This software is compatible with iPhone 2.0-3.0
This Application is designed the same way, to help you sort it out, at less than the price of a cup of coffee.
It doesn't matter if you're a Medical Student, Doctor, Nurse, Resident, EMT, Physicians Assistant, CRNA, Technician, Dentist, Sales Rep, or an Intern.
It doesn't matter if you work in Surgery, Anesthesia, ICU, Recovery, Medical Coding, Medical Billing, or you're on your way to Medical School-
You will find this useful.
Whether you're an experienced medical professional or new to the job,we all come across terminology and abbreviations we aren't familiar with.
Buy this software and never be caught off guard.
Terminology is broken down into prefixes, stem words and suffixes, and then alphabetically. Abbreviations are stored in alphabetical order as well, and both have a quick scroll on the right side to instantly skip to the letter you're looking for.
Many healthcare professionals have given this software great reviews, and we are sure you will as well.

IV Meds on SALE (for a limited time)
The Original IV MED program (1st release March 25, 2009)
NEW Update 1.6 has Triage Protocols used in several hospitals.
**********New OB wheel***********
iv calculator will be updated to be similar to stat meds coming with 1.7 update.
Iv meds is a program that allows the health care provider have access to more than 45 common iv medications. Some of the medications have 3 to 5 different concentrations. The user can calculate the doses on the IV medications and then compare it to the data provided. This is not a substitute for calculating your doses.
We will be updating our database based on request made from our users. The application also contains multiple drug concentrations for the same drug. We have found that most of our beta testers work at different hospitals that carry different concentrations of different IV medications. We have added a wide range of patient weights.
It is impossible to allow the user to have everything in one application. We have created a link from each drug that takes you to a database that is kept current. It has the manufacture drug label, summary of consumer health information, clinical trials, summary of reviewed biological and physical data, scientific journals, toxicological journals, biological activities, information from the US FDA, and much more. Our tools section contains an amazing list of resources not mentioned above. We currently have a temperature and weight converter.
We will continue to add tools, updates, more drugs to the database with our free updates. Our goal is to create the best IV med program using the best features of the IPhone. Once we become aware of any issues with the program, we will correct the issue immediately and submit it to Apple. Please keep in mind that this process does take some time, but we will do everything possible to fix any issues as soon as possible. We are already working on adding more features, medications, more concentrations, and increasing more weight ranges.
Thank you for your time, and please share this program with your friends. Visit our website to see other great products coming soon.
PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE for corrections as updates take some time to be approved by Apple. All updates will be FREE.
We will be adding more Medication tables as requested from our users. Please keep in mind that we will be updating this program as often as possible. We expect the user to calculate each dose.
Disclaimer:
All Calculations must be confirmed. This program is not a substitute for clinical judgement nor an understanding of the use of the drugs. There are no claims, explicit or implied of the accuracy of any of the data or information provided. We expect the user to calculate all doses. Any direct or indirect harm caused by the user is not a result of the program. We will not be responsible for the user not verifying doses specific to your region.
